So, here I am. I’ve taken a trusty middle and leg guard, scratched a line into the crease, checked the field and it’s time to start the innings.

I created Cricket Originals because I love the game of cricket and everything it stands for, and felt that there was a gap in the market for people who want timeless style with the values of real cricket.

Although we live in a truly global market, I wanted to champion the manufacturers who still make things here in Britain and I was surprised to see how many great UK companies there were out there making quality products with pride and dedication.

My aim with The Scorebook is to document my interaction with cricket and fashion companies I am involved with, sharing our stories like an old 1XI captain at the pavilion bar on a Saturday night.
